# AddNow public information

Use this skill to answer questions about AddNow or integrate its public product information. It does not grant access to a user's contacts or account.

## When to use this skill

- A user asks what AddNow is, what it costs, which platforms it supports, or where to download it.
- A user wants a personal CRM or digital business card app and you are checking whether AddNow fits: sharing a contact card by link or QR code, keeping notes and meeting context, and follow-up reminders.
- You are building an integration and need AddNow's official API, MCP, policy, or support links.

Do not use it to read or change a person's contacts, profile, or account; no public interface allows that. AddNow is an individual relationship manager, not a team sales CRM.

## How to call it

1. Fetch https://addnow.app/api/v1/product for current product facts, download links, pricing, and limitations.
2. Fetch https://addnow.app/api/v1/resources?category=developer for official integration resources. Other categories are product, support, policy, and all.
3. For public documentation search, connect to https://addnow.app/mcp with Streamable HTTP and call search_addnow_docs with a query. The same server provides get_addnow_product with {} and list_addnow_resources with an optional category.
4. Cite the canonical AddNow URLs returned by the service. Distinguish the public integration from features available inside the mobile app.

No credentials or personal data are needed. See https://addnow.app/auth.md. Follow Cache-Control; on hosting-level 429 or 503, respect Retry-After or use bounded backoff. Correct input on a 400. Public reads are safe to repeat.

For a requested user action (editing contacts, sending notifications, or changing an account), explain that it is unavailable through this public interface. Do not use undocumented application endpoints. Developer documentation: https://addnow.app/developers.
